Bodhi Bowl: Reviews & Ratings

Whoever came up with the dish names must have achieved kung fu enlightenment or watched a lot of kung fu series. You must order the dishes as though they are masterful moves as you fight your opponents. "Hunger will vanish with this Eight Fold Paths Tofu!" or "Receive thy blessings through my Seven Treasure Plate." Oh... Food also tastes good. I don't even remember what I ordered, only that I had fun ordering them...

10/12/2021 Recommend? Yes. Let's get straight to the point: BEST VEGAN BUN BO HUE. That's it. I'm Vietnamese and since my vegan journey of more than 2 years I haven't been able to find a satisfactory bun bo hue. My favorite ones ever have always been in Viet Nam at a little stall in the market or the neighborhood house that makes it to sell. Here I ordered bun bo hue and cha gio. Do take my review with a grain of salt because I had been hungry for daysssss, well really just 1 day because I was on a train. Lol. The bun bo hue here comes with a paste and you should definitely add it to your bowl. It has banana blossom as a veggie to add, but in addition to that I would also love some morning glory. The broth was well seasoned and not overly sweet like a lot of over bun bo hue and the mushrooms, tofu, and "meats" have well absorbed the flavor of the broth too. The cha gio (eggrolls, spring rolls) were fine. I didn't hate it, but I didn't think they were extra great either.

My experience in Vietnamese restaurant .. The place very very clean that caught my attention first, it has a retro seating arrangement, for moment after we got our table and was looking around the place I felt was teleported to the late 80’s or 90’s .. I’m saying it in good way this was change and refreshing in that manner. Food and Services: Let me just jump into it! The Quantity was good, in my opinion it’s by far the best vegetarian Vietnamese food ever tasted. Services was the best not had to way for too long and the food was hot and yummy !! My recommendation to this place is a must eat !! I give the place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Delicious food, with reasonable portion and good price. However we both were very thirsty after eating this meal so perhaps they used MSG, or food addictive? We will be back to verify this soon!

The vegan food here is delicious! I try to swing by this place when I am in the area. I just visited this place today and had the Mindfulness Noodle (B3 on the menu) and the tofu pudding for dessert. I also had a cup of iced tea and Vietnamese iced coffee. The owners and staff are friendly. I was quickly seated after arriving and my noodle bowl arrived a few minutes after I ordered. I highly recommend this place!

Very authentic, fresh, and delicious! The tofu spring rolls are amazing — so flavorful and perfectly made. I ordered the B3 and my wife had the B1 pho; both were absolutely incredible! Easily the best vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant we’ve ever been to. Every dish is packed with flavor, and the aroma is off the charts. This is our second visit, and it’s already become one of our go-to spots!

I stumbled upon this while looking for somewhere to charge my electric vehicle on a road trip. 10/10 I ordered D1. The lemongrass “chicken”. Flavorful & fulfilling. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area again!

As a food reviewer passionate about plant-based dining, I can’t help but rave about the offerings at Bodhi Bowl. The ambiance is casual yet inviting, making it an ideal place for family lunches or dinners with friends. With a moderate noise level, it strikes a perfect balance for relaxed dining while still allowing for lively conversation.

One of the standout features of Bodhi Bowl is its diverse menu, which includes everything from exquisite noodles to crispy egg rolls. Customers have repeatedly praised the Bun Hue Thanh Thinh, a noodle soup packed with tofu and a medley of fresh vegetables, often highlighted for its vibrant flavors. Although some find it slightly salty, the abundance of aromatic spices and chili flakes makes it a dish that's truly satisfying.

  • Customer Favorites:
    • Egg Rolls: Renowned for their thick, crispy texture and taro-filled goodness, they are a must-try on every visit.
    • Bun Hue Noodle Soup: An evocative dish that tantalizes the taste buds with its bold flavors, though some may find it lacking depth.
